English League One — FIS research & accumulator qualification

11 fixtures confirmed; no qualified accumulators issued. The football data supports useful market research, but genuine Strategy 5 FIS and PCS cannot be completed from statistics alone. All matches remain WATCH. No invented confidence percentages, combined odds or monetary returns appear in this report.

Two fixtures kick off at 12:30 BST and nine at 15:00 BST. The connected FootyStats date feed and complete 2026/27 season list agree, and Football.co.uk independently corroborates the pairings and times. No other date or competition has been substituted.

Fixture research order

A highest-to-lowest confidence ranking is unavailable because the required PCS evidence is incomplete. This table instead orders the strongest of five provider market indicators, descending, with ties by kickoff and home name. This is a research queue, not a confidence ranking or substitute FIS.

Detailed match evidence

Every proposition below is provisional research, not a qualified betting selection. Venue figures are recomputed from completed league games before this snapshot. GF/GA are totals; PPG is points per game. Recent results run oldest to newest. Four- and five-match venue samples are particularly unstable.

Wycombe Wanderers v Notts County · 15:00 BST

Over 2.5 total goals53%1.81
BTTS — Yes88%1.67

Interpretation: The home and away over-1.5 frequencies are 100% and 100%. This supports investigating a two-goal threshold; it does not establish an independently modelled probability or a price edge. BTTS requires both attacks to contribute; over 2.5 needs a third goal; a first-half selection needs early scoring specifically. These are different propositions.

Failure scripts: expected attacking control may create chances without goals; an adverse slow first half or defensive lead can defeat the goals thesis; a key attacker missing or a changed role can invalidate the historical profile. For the under-2.5 angle, an early goal, defensive error or red card can open the game. No independent tactical, player-availability or three-price dossier establishes robustness here.

Interpretation: The venue evidence conflicts: the home over-1.5 frequency is 25%, versus 100% for the visitors away. A pooled indicator hides that difference, so the goals proposition needs a stronger tactical explanation.

Accumulator qualification

Strategy 5 v2.0 requires an independent baseline, contextual evidence, market-specific PCS and a passing Market Fit check. None of these 11 matches has a complete qualifying dossier. Combining unqualified legs would bypass the requested methodology. The research queues below are not accumulator tickets.

Combined decimal odds, combined probability and £5 / £10 / £20 potential returns: unavailable. The decimal prices in the match tables are verified only as FootyStats feed values; no named originating bookmaker or original quote time was provided. They are not independently verified executable odds.

An additional SportyTrader comparison check displayed Peterborough 1X2 and goals quotes, but did not establish an executable same-bookmaker set of qualified legs or a three-source benchmark for every fixture. The William Hill preview supplied commentary rather than an accessible complete price set. Neither is used to invent an accumulator price.

Do not multiply provider indicators, FIS or PCS to obtain a joint win probability. Even validated probabilities would require explicit assumptions about independence; same-match legs and repeated legs across tickets are dependent. No such calibrated joint estimate is asserted.

The current FIS method

The authoritative supplied Situation(20261016-185935).pdf defines Strategy 5 v2.0. It supersedes the provisional FIS-lite approach used in the 10 October League One report. FIS scores contextual evidence independently for each team on a 0/25/50/75/100 category scale; ΔFIS = home FIS − away FIS.

Context categoryWeight
Stakes & incentives18%
Availability & lineup leverage22%
Recovery, travel & rotation15%
Tactical & managerial fit15%
Club environment10%
Information integrity10%
Market intelligence10%

Information integrity must reach 50 for context-led use. Missing evidence is neither zero nor a neutral score. PCS separately weights baseline agreement 30%, market benchmark 20%, lineup/information certainty 15%, scenario robustness 20%, context support 10% and price/execution 5%. The method explicitly forbids a percentage sign beside PCS until calibrated. This report therefore cannot honestly provide the requested numerical confidence percentages.

Required but unavailable: fixed-model baseline specification and outputs; three reputable price comparisons; timestamped and corroborated context for all seven FIS categories for both teams; sufficient lineup and role certainty; and justified price entry bands. Statistics alone cannot fill these fields. No exceptional context or PCS 70+ rating is asserted.

Post-match record

All fixtures are incomplete at the snapshot. Zero score placeholders in the feed are not results. This pre-match record must be retained unchanged; any later review should append official halftime and full-time scores.

All eight accumulator categories: no ticket issued; winning, losing and void leg counts are not applicable. This is neither a losing nor a void accumulator. No actual return is claimed. A later requested check should grade the research propositions separately from betting performance. Where a placed ticket is supplied, use its accepted odds, stake and bookmaker rules; a void leg commonly becomes 1.00 but the relevant bookmaker’s postponement and abandonment rules must be verified before settlement. Gross return includes the stake; net profit deducts it.

Sources, snapshot and calculation notes

FootyStats retrieval: 2026-10-17T07:13:49.513Z (UTC; 17 October 2026, approximately 08:14 BST). League-list resolves England EFL League One 2026/27 to season 17180. All three league-matches pages were retrieved: 552 scheduled season records, including 103 completed matches before the snapshot. The date feed has one page and 113 subscribed-competition fixtures; exactly 11 belong to League One. All 11 match-detail records and the league-statistics endpoint were retrieved. Historical analysis uses only completed earlier matches, never future score placeholders.

Observed rate = qualifying completed venue matches / completed venue matches. PPG = (3 × wins + draws) / matches. First-half rates use known nonnegative halftime scores. Recent sequences cover the last five completed league matches only; cup results are excluded. Provider potential fields may use different pooling/rounding and remain separate from these recomputed rates. Neither is automatically predictive.
